Inquiry in Munir Sangi’s case begins
LARKANA, June 15 2006: A three-month inquiry committee, headed by Director General Health Services Sindh, Dr. Hadi Bux Jatoi, June 14 started inquiry into alleged negligence by the Medico Legal Officer (MLO) of CMC Hospital, Larkana in photo-journalist Munir Ahmad Sangi case.
On the orders of Sindh Chief Minister, the enquiry committee has been formed to investigate the matter. The two other member of the enquiry committee are Ghulam Hussain Shaikh and head of the Department of forensic-medicine Shandka Medical College (CMC), Larkana, Prof Ghulam Qadir Kaheri. MLO Dr. Akhtar Hussain Dayo, and police Surgeon Dr Allah Warayo Bozdar appeared before the inquiry committee. APP
