Inquiry for not issuing TV licences

LAHORE- Chief Post Master Rana Ummer Hayat has ordered an inquiry against the staff of Post Office, Shadman for refusing to issue TV licences to people.

Superintendent Post Offices South division, Atifa Riffat has been appointed inquiry officer. The Chief Post Master took the action on complaints that Shadman post office was not issuing licences. He said that people can get TV licences from any post office throughout the province and there is no restriction. He said: “It is our national duty to encourage people to get television licences and refusal to issue licence to anybody will be construed as an act of negligence.
