Indian journalist lauds Aman Ki Asha

NANKANA SAHIB: Sandhya Jindal, a visiting Indian journalist, has said that the Jang Group is doing a marvellous job by brining Pakistan and India closer to each other through Aman Ki Asha.

Talking to The News at Gurdwara Janamasthan here on Saturday, she said that the Jang Group was bridging the gap between both countries, which was need of the hour.

She was of the view that cricket diplomacy would definitely melt the ice. “Different game competitions should be organised in both countries because the masses want them. People should show patience, open-heartedness and tolerance during matches and take them as matches, not wars,” she opined.

She said that there was no room for violence as hearts of the masses of both countries were connected to each other. “The divide and rule policy is being adopted towards the sub-continent and it is the third country which is causing differences between both countries,” she maintained.

The Indian journalist said that both countries should sit at a table with open heart and resolve their differences through dialogues. She added that both countries should not blame each other for any terrorist act without proof. She asked the media in both countries to understand its duty and play a positive role like the Jang Group. She called for promoting trade between two countries. She said that poverty and illiteracy across the border could be removed by sharing modern technology and other resources. She said that peace was vital for the prosperity of both countries.
