In order to record their protest against curbs on media

ISLAMABAD (December 21 2007): In order to record their protest against curbs on media and on completion of their 50 days of protest, the journalists of the twin cities, Islamabad and Rawalpindi would hold protest camp on the first day of Eid-ul-Azha.

The protest camp would be set up at Islamabad Press Club on Friday,at 2 pm to 4pm under the auspices of Rawalpindi Islamabad Press Club (RIPC) and Rawalpindi Islamabad Union of Journalists (RIUJ). The president RIPC, Mushtaq Minhas, Senior Vice President (RIUJ) Shehryar Khan and Qurban Satti would be incharge of the camp. The members of civil society, journalists, prominent social and political figures would participate in protest camp.
