Implication of journalist in fake case flayed
CHANGA MANGA: The press club office-bearers have condemned fake case against Union of Journalists Kasur District President Sardar Sharif Sohdal.
In a joint statement, on Monday, the Changa Manga Press Club members included Asghar Ali Bhatti, Rana Mansoor Ahmad, Ch Khalid Riaz, Ch Riaz Ahmad, Raja Nabeel Kiani and Imran Daar said that the Kasur A-Division Police had registered a case to punish the journalist for filing stories against the police.
They demanded the Punjab Chief Minister and the IG Police to look into the matter and order cancellation of the FIR. They also demanded action against the responsible police officials.
