Govt warns of action against land mafia
KARACHI: Land mafia will not be allowed to encroach upon government’s land, said Dr Irfan Gul Magsi, Sindh Revenue Minister, in a meeting with Sindh Minister for Local Government, Muhammad Hussain and City Nazim Karachi, Mustafa Kamal, on Friday.
According to a press release issued by the Information Department, the meeting was held to discuss the issues linked to katchi abadis and certificated old Goths. The meeting also previewed, in detail, the actions taken by the Department of Revenue against the land mafia. Dr Magsi said that decisive actions would be taken to reclaim government land from the land mafia.
