Govt promoting free media: Kaira
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Qamar Zaman Kaira has said the government is promoting free media in country and every effort was being made to resolve the problems faced by the media, espec-ially the print media in the country.
He was talking to a delegation of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) led by its President Mujeebur-Rahman Shami in a meeting held here on Thursday. The problems faced by the print media industry in the country were discussed in the meeting.
