Girls killed as father rejects marriage proposal
KHAIRPUR, June 12 2006: Two sisters were killed after their father rejected a marriage proposal for one of them in Ali Nawaz Hisbani village of the Faiz Ganj taluka on May 11. Accused Ghulam Rasool Hisbani, Faiz Mohammad Hisbani, Asif Ali Hisbani and Arshad Ali Hisbani, residents of Dost Mohammad Hisbani village, had been living in the house of their close relative Manzoor Ali Hisbani for three days.
They had proposed to marry his daughter Khair Bano. When the father refused, they allegedly killed Khair Bano, 27, 4am. After hearing gun shots her married sister Shabana, 32, reached the spot and she was also killed by the armed men. The assailants escaped. P0st-mortem of the women was conducted in their village. The accused Ghulam Rasool Hisbani is said to be brother-in-law of the victims. No case has been registered till the filing of the report.
