Geo in lead to improve environment again
RAWALPINDI: Geo TV’s efforts to improve environment met with success again on Saturday (March 26)) as it celebrated ‘Earth Hour’ like rest of the world. From 8:30pm to 9:30pm, lights were switched off in news studios and other departments of Geo TV Networks.
The cooperation between Geo TV and international organisation WWF is an important step to save Pakistan from environmental changes. This year ‘Earth Hour’ was celebrated in Pakistan under WWF and Geo TV. Reports regarding ‘Earth Hour’ were telecast on Geo TV the whole day on Saturday. In Geo reports, people were urged to switch off lights to express their love for the earth.
