Gastro-enteritis kills two children
SUKKUR, August 21 2005: Two children died and more than 50 people, including women and children, were affected by gastro-enteritis in village Bakhshoo Seelro near Pano Aqil, during the last one week.
Gastro-enteritis has spread in the village for the last one week due to which children Rashid and Farhan, both sons of Mohammad Hashim Seelro, died, while more than 50 others have been affected by the disease. The villagers claimed that mostly children and women have been affected. They alleged that the health department has done nothing so far to control the disease. They have demanded of the high-ups of the health department to send a team of doctors to their village.
