Four CD shops blown up in Takhtbhai
TAKHTBHAI: Four compact disc (CD) shops were destroyed and 21 others were partially damaged in an explosion in the Khurshid Market on Wednesday, sources said.
The sources said that an explosive device planted by unidentified persons in the Khurshid Market went off early in the day. Four shops selling music CDs were destroyed and 21 other shops suffered partial damage in the explosion, the sources added. The explosion was heard far and wide. An official of the bomb disposal unit said that about 10 kilograms of explosives had been used in the explosion. The police arrested the watchman of the market, Khan Bahadur, after the incident.
