Foreign journalist thrashed
ISLAMABAD: The security guards of Senator Talha Mahmood thrashed a foreign journalist, here on Monday.
According to details, the motorbike of a foreign journalist collided with the squad of Senator Talha in Faisal Market in the jurisdiction of Kohsar Police Station.
Four guards riding the vehicle captured the journalist and subjected him to torture.
Workers of a foreign TV channel held protest in front of Senator Talha house.
The JUI-F senator finally held talks with the protesters and suspended the guards involved in the incident.
When contacted, Zafar, Private Secretary of Mehmood, confirmed the incident, however, he said that after negotiation the issue was resolved.
He confirmed that the guards have been suspended.
