Electronic Media Freedom day today
KARACHI, February 09,2005:A roundtable to mark the Electronic Media Freedom Day will be held today at a local hotel. It is being organized by Citizens Media Commission of Pakistan with the support of the Pakistan office of the German foundation, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.
The Chairman of the Commission and former Chief Justice of Pakistan Dr. Nasim Hasan Shah will preside over the discussion. The theme for 2005 for the Day is “From scarcity of abundance; new horizons, new hazards”. The Convener of the Commission, former Information Minister, Javed Jabbar.
