Demand to lift media curbs
MANSEHRA, Nov 21: The TV Journalists Association of Mansehra has urged the government to lift curbs on the media and restore transmission of private television channels.
A meeting of the association was held on Wednesday to mark the World Television Day.
The participants criticised the government for imposing curbs on the media and shutting down Geo and ARY TV channels.
“It is highly condemnable that the world is observing the World Television Day but the Pakistan government has imposed curbs on the media and blocked two news channels,” they said.
