Death anniversary of Nizami observed
LAHORE – Hundreds of office-bearers and workers of Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust laid floral wreaths and offered fateha on the grave of former Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust chairman late Dr Majid Nizami on his second death anniversary.
Later, Quran Khawani was held at Aiwan-i-Karkunan Tehreek-i-Pakistan for Dr Nizami, which was followed by a mass prayer for elevation of the departed soul. At the end, Langar was distributed among the participants.
Ex-president Rafique Tarar will today inaugurate a picture exhibition on Nizami’s life at the Aiwan.
