Council of Pakistan Newspaper standing committee members for 2002-03
KARACHI- The annual general meeting of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) general council held the other day at Lahore has unanimously elected the following 30 members of the Standing Committee of the CPNE for the new year 2002-03.

It may be mentioned here that 23 dailies are elected on a constituency-wise basis to the Standing Committee of the CPNE each year while seven periodicals are also elected as members of Standing Committee giving it the total strength of 30 members.
The Standing Committee members elected each year then elect the office-bearers for the new year.
