Columnist wounded
KARACHI – A columnist of an Urdu daily was wounded when gunmen opened fire at his car on Shaheed-i-Millat Road late on April 30 night.
Police said Abbas Mehkri was heading home in his car when the gunmen sprayed the vehicle with bullets.
Police said the assailants were on a motorcycle.
Mr. Mehkri was taken to the Aga Khan Hospital where his condition was stated to be serious.
