Cable operators seek help

HYDERABAD- The Cable Operators Association announced that the cable operators would not operate any channel which could prove harmful to the integrity of the nation or adversely affect moral values.

A spokesman for the Association, in a statement thanked the Sindh Governor, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), Assistant Inspector General (AIG), District Police Officer (DPO), Hyderabad and Latifabad taluka Nazim (Administrator), for coming to the rescue of the cable operators.

The spokesman said the cable operators were working under legal licenses.

He urged the government to provide all legal facilities to the cable operators who were providing jobs to thousands of people and healthy recreational facilities to millions of TV viewers.
