Cabinet Okays setting up of I.Tcech varsity
QUETTA- A meeting of Balochistan Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Balochistan Governor, Justice (Retd) Amirul Mulk Mengal, which ratified establishment of an Information Technology University in Quetta for which federal government has provided a fund of Rs 39 million.
It also approved establishment of IT Management Sciences Institute in Loralai, which will cost about Rs 25 million.
The Cabinet also approved to provide 35 acres of land on lease in Turbat for establishment of transmission station of Radio Pakistan. In order to encourage modern farming, it also decided to accord 5,000 acres of land to provincial Agriculture Department on lease for 60 years which would further hand it over to Chinese agriculture experts for establishment of a latest model farm there.
