British envoys call on nazim
Mustafa Kamal briefed the envoys about ongoing development projects in the city stating that first time in the history of Karachi the development process has been initiated with such a speed. “All the towns and union councils have been released development funds on equal basis and without any discrimination. “The development works are underway round the clock in three shifts with the result that a fly-over is completed in just five months setting a record in the history of Pakistan,” he claimed.
It is matter of great pleasure that foreign investors were now focussing on Karachi, he said adding he has been invited to World Economic Conference recognizing Karachi among 12 mega cities of the world.
The British envoys praised the development projects going on here and said positive changes have taken place in Karachi within such a shortest period.
