Bail of ARY TV administrator dismissed
KARACHI: Additional District and Sessions Judge South on Monday dismissed the bail application of the ARY TV administrator in the Railways land encroachment case.
Muhammad Yousuf Sheikh had moved a bail application before the court in Railway land encroachment case. According to the prosecution, ARY TV management had encroached upon the Railways land, reserved for circular railways parking near Orangi Town Railway Station, on June 26 and despite assurance to remove the encroachment did not do so. Applicant’s counsel sought confirmation of bail as he was not an authority but the employee of the ARY TV.
Prosecution counsel opposed the bail application contending that private TV channel administration encroached upon the government land, reserved for the parking, and case had been registered against the accused at Railways police at city station. ADJ South Sohail Jabbar Malik after hearing the arguments of both the sides dismissed the confirmation of the bail application.
