Azaz Syed, Umar Cheema launch YouTube channel named Talk SHOCK
ISLAMABAD—two investigative reporters working with the Jang Group have decided to ensure their presence on a digital platform.
Azaz Syed and Umar Cheema, having over two decades of experience in investigative journalism, have launched a YouTube channel named Talk SHOCK.
“Since media is turning its face from electronic to digital, we thought to change our mode of working too,” they stated. “The basic purpose is to provide accurate information to the people we carried and will continue to carry.”
For the past few years, many prominent Pakistani journalists have successfully run their own independent YouTube channels. Unlike censorship and restrictions on traditional media, they are more comfortable enjoying the freedom to express their views on YouTube.
