Attack on journalists condemned
BAHAWALPUR – Local journalist community has strongly condemned the attack on two local journalists – Rana Yaseen and Ch Khalid Sardar here the other night by unknown culprits near Chak 6/BC near here.
Both the journalists were tortured and harassed by unidentified culprits.
They staged a protest against the incident here at Press Club and expressed their anger. They demanded stern action against the culprits. They asked the DPO to ensure early arrest of the accused and award exemplary punishment to them. The Abbas Nagar Police have registered a case against 10 unknown accused under Sections, 337, 365 and 395.
