Assembly backs journalists
PESHAWAR — The NWFP assembly on June 23, unanimously adopted a resolution criticizing an advertisement campaign launched against the Wage Board for the newspapers industry.
Presenting a joint resolution in the house, Abdul Akbar Khan of the Pakistan People’s Party said the campaign undermined the unanimous resolutions adopted by the four provincial assemblies and the National Assembly calling for implementation of the award.
