Arshad takes over as PTV MD
ISLAMABAD – Arshad Khan took over as PTV Managing Director on May 19. He replaced Akhtar Waqar Azim.
Arshad Khan has brought with him vast experience of telecom sector. He is trend-setter for telecom sector in many ways.
Before joining the PTV as Managing Director, Khan was holding the office of Chief Executive Officer, Ufone. He had been a key man to make Ufone a success in a short period due to his dynamic policies.
Talking to Business Recorder after taking the charge said his top priority would be to make PTV financially sound besides providing healthy entertainment to the nation.
Arshad, a telecom engineer with Master degree from USA and business diploma from UK, has around 22 years’ experience of working in various areas of telecommunications, including fixed line, international, long distance, paging and cellular communication to his credit.
