Arrest of rapists demanded
NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: A protest was staged by “Children’s Rights Committee” (CRC) here on Sunday against the failure of the police to arrest two teachers who had raped a class X student Aasima Khund a week ago.
The protesters were led by Coordinator CRC, District Naushahro Feroze, Zahid Rajpar, and Murtaza Tagar, Suhail Rajpar and others. The demonstrators raised slogans against the teachers involved in the crime and against the police, who have failed in arresting the culprits.
Talking to newsmen, they said the ratio of female students was already very low in the interior Sindh and such shameful incidents would discourage parents and they would be reluctant to send their daughters to schools. They demanded of the authorities to arrest the culprits involved in the case.
