APNS seeks review visit by SC
ISLAMABAD – The All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) has requested the Supreme Court for a review visit to its judgement in which it declined to entertain its petition questioning the Pakistan Newspapers Employees (Condition of Service) Act of 1973.
The petition drawn by Abdul Hafeez Pirzada was filed here with the judicial branch of the Court by Advocate-on-Record, M. S. Khattak, on May 8.
The civil review petition invokes Order XXVII, Rule 1 of the Supreme Court Rules of 1980 and is aimed at the short order the Second Bench passed on April 8 and the detailed judgement.
