APNS condoles death of chief of National Advertisers

KARACHI: President of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society Hameed Haroon and Secretary General Sarmad Ali, on behalf of the office bearers and members of the APNS, have expressed profound grief over the sad demise of M Mushtaq, the managing director of the National Advertisers, Karachi, said a press release here on Monday.

He had rich experience of advertising of consumer products, pharmaceuticals, hotel industry, airlines, automobiles, cosmetics, saving schemes, industrial machines, etc. Mushtaq was one of the most senior advertising professionals in the country and enjoyed great respect, support and admiration among his professional colleagues and the newspaper industry.

He was elected as the chairman of the Pakistan Advertising Association (PAA) for the term 1988-89 during which period the PAA organised the ‘16th ADASIA 89 Pakistan’ in Lahore that put Pakistan on the advertising map of the world. The APNS office bearers offered their condolence and prayed that Almighty Allah may rest the departed soul in peace and give patience to the bereaved family and friends to bear the irreparable loss.
