All politicians are friends on Facebook

LAHORE —Notwithstanding that the heads of all the political parties of Pakistan have ideological differences with each other in the name of national interest and foreign policy, the conversation, chatting and friendship among all the political leaders on social network website Facebook differ from the ground realities.
On the Facebook, President Asif Ali Zardari, PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif, former President Pervez Musharraf, PML-Q Chief Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and PTI Chief Imran Khan are friends of each other. Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and MQM Chief Altaf Husssain have not added any political figure on their profile pages for the reasons best known to them.
Talking to this scribe, an information technology expert, however, said that each party has always appointed special persons who usually run their profile pages on Facebook. To a query, he said there was a rare case that any big politician himself chats or uses Facebook.
The inside story is yet to be ascertained and whatsoever the reality may be but the profile pages of politicians and their Facebook addresses, which exit this time show quite interesting facts. Each politician has a good number of females fans or may be the naughty boys, who have posted the picture of good looking girls. According to the Facebook data out of total 4810 friends, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif enjoys the company of Pervez Musharraf as he has added Musharaf as his friend. Excluding Musharraf, Nawaz Sharif has refused to accept any other politician as his friend.
Seeing the Facebook profile page of Musharraf, it seems the former President has added himself numerous times and also added those people who have posted the pictures of Nawaz Sharif as their profile photos.
On his profile page, out of total 3953 friends, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is also enjoying the company of his old friend Mian Nawaz Sharif, Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi, Asif Zardari, Asma Jehangir, Bilawal Bhutto, Imran Khan, Muhammad Ali Saif, close aide of Musharraf and etc.
President Asif Ali Zardari, however, has low figure of friends as compared to the aforementioned politicians but he also has added Mian Nawaz Sharif, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Attaullah Khan Esakhelvi as his friends.
