Aali Rizvi passes away
LAHORE- Veteran Journalist and columnist Syed Aali Rizvi died of a protracted illness on January 29, 2003. Aali Rizvi, 72, started his career as a journalist with defunct daily Kohistan and remained associated with the profession for well over 40 years.
He remained editor of defunct daily Mashriq. For the last some years, he was associated with daily Jang.
He has left behind a widow, two sons Naveed Ahmed Rizvi and Nadeem Ahmed Rizvi and four daughters.
Condolence: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid-e-Azam Group (PML-Q) parliamentary leader Chaudhry Shujaat Husain has condoled the death of senior journalist Aali Rizvi. In a statement, he termed Mr Rizvi’s demise a great shock for national journalism and prayed that may Allah rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
