Aaj TV tenders apology to SC
The Management of Aaj TV offers an unconditional apology to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan for airing of an ad by a political party in respect of a sub judice matter on 11 and 12 July 2011.
The ad was aired inadvertently. The management of Aaj TV holds the independence of the judiciary and the authority of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan in the highest esteem.
Aaj TV was in the forefront of the struggle for the independence and restoration of the judiciary and on account of this had suffered under the dictatorship. The error is highly regretted.
