A huge disappointment
Sir: The report of the Judicial Commission’s inquiry on journalist Saleem Shahzad’s murder case has come up with no conclusion. It was set up to identify the culprits and fix responsibility for the murder.
The commission has failed to do so. Its report has strengthened the general impression that holds the ISI responsible for committing this crime. The findings in the report have actually found no culprit. The commission has not only wasted its time but also proved a burden on the country’s exchequer.
I demand that all the monetary benefits and facilities provided to the commission’s members be reimbursed. They have failed to fulfil their duty. The murderers of Saleem Shahzad are roaming around freely. Justice is yet to be served in his case. The commission’s members should be taken to task for their inefficiency.
