10 CIA officials booked
LAHORE: CIA SP Umer Virk has got registered cases against 10 agency officials with Naulakha and Nawankot police stations for embezzling valuables seized from suspects.
Those who have been booked are inspector Azhar Saqib, sub-inspectors Muhammad Khalid, Saeed Anwar, Muhammad Aslam, Miraj Din, Maqsood Hayyat and Mazhar Iqbal and assistant sub-inspectors Faqir Hussain, Farzand Ali and Shahzad Ahmad.
The SP took action against these officials on the basis of inquiry report which revealed that the said police officers had seized valuables from the possessions of suspects but they did not return these goods to their owners.
