Women not paid income support funds
KHAIRPUR: Over 100 poor women have not been receiving monthly funds under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) in Ranipur area for three months.
Some affected women told journalists in Ranipur press club that local post office officials refused to pay their share of money.
A senior post master of Khairpur, Hafeezllah Channa, told this reporter that amount could not be distributed due to inefficiency of the post office staff.
He said that more than 140 women, who were to receive money for October, November and December, could not get it.
He said that undistributed amount was returned and assured that the women would be given their share in future.
