Woman killed
HARIPUR,March 1,2005: A woman was shot dead allegedly by her former husband and threw the body into a well.Officials of the Kotnajibullah police station quoted Taj, mother of the victim, as having reported that Nasreen had been living with her parents in village Pindi Kamal Khan after getting divorce from her husband, Haji Muhammad Aslam.
On February 27 night, she said that Mr Aslam came to their home and requested Nasreen to come outside to discuss some matters. But, she told the police, Nasreen did not return home and in the morning her bullet-riddled body was recovered from an open well in the village.
