Woman axed to death by relatives

KARACHI, July 24 2006: A woman was killed while three people lost their lives in separate incidents on July 22. Marvi, 50, was murdered when her husband along with his brothers and brothers-in-law axed her inside a house in Jamali Goth, in Sohrab Goth police locality. Asghar, the son of the deceased woman, said that about five years ago, his mother had left his father’s house after a dispute and since then, they had been residing in Karachi.

He said, “Ali Hassan, his father along with his two brothers Mehar Gul and Ali Sher, and three brothers of my mother Ali Murad, Ghulam Ali, and Dedaar Ali, entered the house and axed my mother and fled.” The police have registered a case against Ali Hasan, his two brothers and three brothers of the deceased woman and launched investigation.
