Woman axed to death

Karachi:Raheema, 40, wife of Abdul Rehman was murdered by unidentified people at her residence in Rio Jalbani Goth, Gadap police limits while she was sleeping.

In the morning her son found her body. He immediately informed the police who shifted her to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.

According to the police, this murder is due to an old enmity.

SHOT DEAD: Three people including a policeman were killed in firing incidents in the city. Constable Waseem, 35, and his friend Sajid, 30, were gunned down, when unidentified people riding a motorcycle intercepted them near Faqir Mohammed Dara Khan in the Kalakot police jurisdiction.

The area people after hearing the shots informed the police who shifted their bodies to the Civil Hospital for legal formalities.

According to the police, the deceased Waseem was posted in CID as a Constable and was resident of Nawa Lane Lyari. They also claim that the murders were the result of the Lyari gang wars.

Meanwhile, Abdul Ghani, 30, was shot dead when unknown persons on a motorcycle intercepted his vehicle near Badar Commercial Street in Darakshan police limits.

A bystander saw his body and informed the police who shifted his body to JPMC for autopsy. According to the police, his murder was due to a personal enmity.

BODY FOUND: A decomposed body of a young woman was found by a person walking by bushes opposite the local Textile Mills in the Sohrab Goth police limits. The police shifted her body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.

The MLO said that the body was at least five days old and the woman was axed to death. Police claim the murder is due to a family dispute.

ACCIDENT: Pasha, 30, was killed when he fell from the roof of his residence in Machar Colony while he was working there.
