Website on child rights launched
ISLAMABAD: The Child Rights Legal Centre has set up a website to provide information about matters relating to child rights in Pakistan.
A press release said the website, was structured in lines with CRC monitoring framework, and would be helpful for government institutions as well as civil society organisations in monitoring the compliance of Convention on the Rights of the Child.
It also highlights that the legislative framework which regulates child rights at the domestic level is outdated, lacks crucial details and does not fully incorporate international standards for protection of children.
