Viewers showing enthusiasm over launching of Aaj TV
KARACHI, March 16 2005: TV viewers are showing great interest in the new private TV channel, Aaj, being launched by the Business Recorder group and which has organised a pre-debut making series of public events at Park Towers in Clifton giving easy access on its communication lines to enthusiastic viewers of their experimental transmissions.
These test transmissions have been going on since sometime. Arshad Zuberi had also met Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, as director of Aaj TV, in Islamabad before the Prime Minister left for Oman and had highlighted broad details of the programme and working of Aaj TV channel.
The Prime Minister had welcomed the establishment of Aaj TV and wished it well. The regular transmissions by Aaj TV will begin during the Pakistan Day weeklong celebrations.
Hopefully a large number of friends and admirers of M.A. Zuberi and Business Recorder have conveyed their felicitations to M.A. Zuberi, Wamiq Zuberi, Arshad Zuberi, Asif Zuberi and all involved in Aaj TV channel. Viewers are looking forward to formal launching of Aaj TV transmission.
