UK fellowship scheme for broadcasters
RAWALPINDI: One World Broadcasting Trust, a UK charity organization, has announced a fellowship scheme for electronic media people in developing countries.
The Trust was set up in 1987 to promote an understanding between the developing and developed countries through effective use of the media
According to a press release, this fellowship scheme focuses on senior radio and television broadcasters. The programme offers a solid opportunity to share ideas, concerns and develop new goals. It also provides a great chance for networking and developing relationships. It is not a ‘hands on’ training programme; it is based on active groups’ discussion.
The 2007 fellowship scheme runs from October 22 to November 2 and applications for the programme can be submitted by August 24. More information can be had at www.britishcouncil.org.pk.
