Torture of Woman: Two Kin Held
MULTAN, May 26 2006: The accused including the husband and brother of a woman who had chopped off her lips and nose in Dera Ghazi Khan have been held whole the victim shifted to the Nishtar Hospital Multan.
This was stated by Punjab chief minister’s adviser Saba Sadiq here on Thursday (May 25). She said Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi had taken a serious notice of the incident, directing her to take care of the oppressed woman. She said the Punjab government would bear all expenses of the victim’s treatment and she will also be extended legal aid to seek justice.
