Three Pakistani students to attend software competition
LAHORE- The computer Society of Pakistan has planned to send three students and a chaperon to take part in a software competition to be held in Auckland, New Zealand in the last week of November 2001.
The students belonging to under 17 age group were selected on the basis of National Software Competition, the preliminaries of which were held in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar simultaneously, the previous month.
The society, over the past years have sponsored more than 40 students to compete in the international competitions held in countries: Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
