The standoff

All those, including the champions of human rights, who are advising the judiciary to exercise restraints are actually suggesting that the judiciary set the constitution aside and let the mighty and wealthy go off scot-free. What kind of human rights activists are those who support a stance which is clearly in violation of a basic human right: justice for all. What kind of democrats are those who accuse the judiciary of destabilising the democratic process when all it is doing is chasing the culprits allegedly involved in plundering the national wealth?
Have these flag-bearers of democracy forgotten the foremost principle of democracy: to treat all citizens, including those who hold positions of power, without any discrimination? The opposition for judiciary and support for those who have converted Pakistan into a beggar state is beyond my comprehension.
