The News staffer robbed
The News staffer was travelling in a coach when three armed robbers entered the coach and robbed the passengers, including The News staffer, and deprived them of their cellphones and cash. The incident took place near the Lasbella Bridge.
Mohammed Saleem, an employee of The News said that he was coming to office in the Niaz Coach (PE-4523).
When the coach crossed the Lasbella Bridge three armed bandits entered and at gunpoint made hostage the passengers.
He added that they deprived him of his cash and cellphone and also looted several passengers, including one Abdul Razzak depriving him of Rs1,000, cellphone and Mohammed Ilyas depriving him of Rs500 and cellphone. After looting the passengers, the bandits jumped out from the moving coach.
