The International Islamic University (IIU) to provide enhanced Information Technology facilities

ISLAMABAD- The International Islamic University, (IIU), will provide enhanced training facilities for computer and other Information Technology, (IT) related fields.

This was stated by President of University, Dr. Hasan Mahmood Abdul Latif al Shafie, while addressing the participants of the computer course (B2).

The course was arranged by the International Institute of Islamic Economics, (IIIE), and was attended by IIU staff members and bankers.

Dr. Shafie said, we are living in the age of globalisation and are confronted by latest technologies.

He specially made a reference to IT related threat to the very existence of the Muslim ummah.

The IIU President added that the University is well aware of the needs of the hour and has arranged a number of latest courses to make our youth to meet the contemporary challenges. Dr. Shafie said that the University is providing all training facilities not only to students but to its employees as well.

He lauded the role of International Institute of Islamic Economics for arranging these computer courses. Vice President of the University, Dr. S M Hassan speaking on the occasion said that the administration of the University is all for enhancing its staff skills.

Director General of the IIE, Dr. Abdul Rahman Yousri said that the institute will continue its march towards achieving the goal of modernisation of its programmes according to the need of the day.

Coordination of the computer courses of the Institute, Shakeel Ahmed Shah said that two more courses are being introduced from September this year.
