Taliban threats

The Taliban have openly threatened media organisations in Pakistan that dare oppose their hardcore views. They have vowed to attack these bodies and their threat seems real enough for the government and security agencies to take them seriously.
There seems little anyone in this country can do to sever the head of this monster as its tentacles seem to have spread in every city and urban centre. No one is safe — no child, no liberal outfit and no peace loving citizen. Where will all this end? When did Pakistan land in the dark ages? I shudder to think what will become of us if these Neanderthals ever manage to impose their way of life upon us.
