Son of Zila Nazim attacks senior Correspondent
CHAMAN, November 23 2005: Son of Zila Nazim Killa Abdullah attacked a senior Correspondent here Tuesday November 22. But ran away after people gathered on the spot.
According to details Jabbar son of Nazim Killa Abdullah Adam attacked Syed Ali Achakzai Senior Correspondent and General Secretary Chaman Press Club in Chaman Bazaar. He tried to beat Syed Ali. But he ran away when the people gathered on the scene. While running, Jabbar threatened he would not spare any Correspondent who tried to prove educational record of Nazim as fake.
It may be added here that educational record has been challenged in the court and police has sealed record room of High School Chaman and deployed armed police. Meanwhile, at an emergent meeting, Correspondents strongly condemned the incident. An important meeting of the Correspondents would be held here Wednesday November 23 to chalk out future course of action.
