SNF condemns attack on newsman
Shikarpur: The leaders of Sindh National Front of Shikarpur district have condemned the incident of torturing a journalist in Hyderabad.
Ahmed Ali Khan Pathan SNF central committee member, Abdul Jabbar Bhutto District President, Jabal Shah Jeelani, Shah Nawaz Larik, Younis Phulpotto, Abdul Ghafoor Kehar and others condemned the incident of torturing on Dawn correspondent by some extremists at Hyderabad.
Addressing a press conference here at local press club on Tuesday, they denied involvement of SNF activists in attacking and torturing the Dawn correspondent and termed it as a conspiracy hatched by some anti-SNF elements to malign the political image of SNF leader Mumtaz Ali Bhutto.
The SNF leaders also condemned the police attack on the house of SNF central General Secretary Ayoob Shar.
SNF leaders also threatened to launch protest movement if their arrested party men Ali Raza Bhutto and Akbar Junejo were not released and the mud slugging over the SNF leadership by some anti-SNF elements was not stopped.
Meanwhile, the journalists held a meeting here at Shikarpur Press Club against the torture on the Dawn Correspondent of Hyderabad by some extremists.
