Seventh Wage Board meeting held
LAHORE- A meeting of Seventh Wage Board was held here with its chairman former justice Raja Afrasiab Khan. Several representatives of the newspaper employees recorded their statement before the Board. The Board will also record the statements of the working journalists on August 31 in Workers Welfare Trust, Allama Iqbal Town Lahore.
The Chairman All Pakistan Newspaper Employees Confederation (APNEC), Abdul Hameed Chapra; Secretary APNEC, Pervaiz Shaukat: President Federal Union of Journalists I H Rashid; President, Balochistan Union of Journalist, Abdul Majid and others also attended the meeting.
Senior Vice President, Punjab Union of Journalists (PUJ) Jalil Hussan Akhtar; General Secretary Muhammad Akram; former president PUJ, Attaul Musawar and Bakhit Gir Chaudhry; a women journalist Sadia Salahuddin; Jang Workers Union President, Haji Ibrahim and Secretary Tassawar Hussain Raza; Bureau Chief, Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) Faiz-ur-Rehman; President Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) Union, Zahiruddin Butt; Mansoor Raja, Ghafoor Ahmed and Majid Shafi recorded their statement before the court.
