Rain, thunder showers likely in Punjab, KPK, Kashmir
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Tuesday forecast rain, thundershower for scattered places of northeast Punjab including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore and Sargodha divisions during next 24 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, seasonal low lies over Balochistan and the adjoining areas with its trough extending to southeast wards. Light to moderate monsoon current are penetrating into upper and central parts of the country.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, mainly hot and humid weather is likely in most parts. However, rain/thundershower is likely at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara and Peshawar divisions during next 24 hours. Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of Sindh and Balochistan during next 24 hours.
In Kashmir, mostly partly cloudy weather is expected in Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan with chances of rain/thundershower at scattered places of Kashmir during next 24 hours.
